Then take a trip to Tucson Greyhound Park. The local baseball team is the Sidewinders. If you prefer to participate rather than spectate in sports, you will find plenty of opportunities.

If the climate gets a little too much, you can make a day of a visit to Colossal Cave; the site of a shootout between the Sheriff and six Tucson bank robbers.
